The museum is located on edge of Gothic area in Barcelona, in a lovely renovated older building. It contains several very early paintings from when he attended art school in teens in Barcelona. We took the Picasso museum private tour with Catalonia discovery our guide Maria was wanderfull and we could discuss about the influence that Barcelona had on Picasso's early pictures. I encourage you to take a private tour to not lose one second and enjoy the experience. Wonderful way to experience the museum.

It is amazing to see an entire museum devoted to Picasso’s works. It had his early works which were very traditional and showed that he was so talented. An absolute must for any visitor, if not just for the amazing art but the great views of the city.
It has frescoes of art taken from churches across Spain dating back up to 1,000 years displayed as they would have been seen in the Church. It has another section of Gothic art , which I promise will not disappoint.
We book our private tour with Catalonia discovery and Maria our guide was amazing, she explained us all that we wanted. I recommend for everyone.

Not only does this museum have really beautiful exhibits of all sorts, but it's situated at the top of the hill in the city with an extraordinary view! We had the chance to see the sunset from that point. Then we went back to the hotel to breathe and we followed our guide Pol for a private food tour.
